if you are waiting, you are not creating

how much time do you spend waiting?

waiting for the right time. waiting for things to change. waiting until you feel ready. waiting for someone else to make the first move. waiting for life to somehow fall into place.

we can spend so much of our lives waiting for something to happen that we forget we are actually here to participate in creating our lives.

think about how often you put something off because the timing isn’t right. maybe you are waiting for more money, more confidence, more clarity or for someone to give you the green light.

but what if the waiting is becoming a habit?

what if, while you are waiting for your life to change, you are missing the opportunity to create something different right now?

creating doesn’t mean you need to make some big move or turn your entire life upside down. sometimes it starts with a small decision. doing something differently. saying yes to something you’ve been avoiding. saying no to something that no longer feels right. making space for something new.

the important thing is that you start participating.

this is where the pause comes in.

when you pause, you interrupt the constant thinking about what might happen, what should happen or what needs to happen before you can move forward.

you come back to yourself. you become aware of the choices in front of you.

and you begin to realize that you don’t have to wait for permission to live differently.

you don’t need to have all the answers. you don’t need to know exactly where you’re going. you just need to be willing to take part in your own life.

so ask yourself, what am i waiting for?

and more importantly, what could i be creating instead?

because life isn’t happening somewhere in the future when everything finally comes together.

it’s happening now.

if you are always waiting for life to happen, you might be missing the opportunity to create it.
