coming home to yourself
we tend to make self love far more complicated than it needs to be.
we talk about boundaries, healing, routines, affirmations and becoming the best version of ourselves.
but what if loving yourself is coming home to your own life?
not what looks good from the outside. not the version that is constantly doing.
just you.
there is something beautiful about coming home at the end of the day, kicking off your shoes and allowing your shoulders to drop.
what if we could create that same feeling inside ourselves?
coming home to yourself also means admitting something in your life isn’t working.
for many of us, we have become so accustomed to being outwardly focused that we forget to check in with ourselves by asking: am i happy here? is this the life i want to create? what have i been pretending not to know?
these questions bring us back to who we are and maybe that is what self love really is.
it is loving yourself enough to say: i’m here. let’s begin again.
