you are meant to outgrow yourself
growth isn’t about becoming someone else. it’s about becoming who you truly are.
one of the greatest mistakes we make is believing we should remain the same. we cling to old identities, old stories, old versions of ourselves because we know them. but life was never designed to keep us comfortable, it was designed to keep us evolving.
the person you were a year ago couldn’t hold the life you’re capable of living today. the beliefs that once protected you may now be limiting you. the habits that once served you may now be keeping you small.
every season asks something different from you.
sometimes you’re brave. sometimes you rest. sometimes you let go and sometimes you’re called to become someone you’ve never been.
outgrowing yourself means saying goodby to the familiar. you will lose people who only knew a version of you. you may feel like you’re standing between two worlds, no longer who you were but not quite who you’re becoming.
stay there.
that’s where transformation happens.
nature doesn’t apologize for changing. trees release their leaves. snakes shed their skin. the tides never stop moving. why would we expect ourselves to stay the same?
your soul is always expanding, inviting you into greater authenticity, deeper love and more aligned purpose.
don’t fear the version of yourself you’re leaving behind.
thank them.
they got you here.
and then take the next step forward.
because you weren’t created to stay the same.
you were created to outgrow yourself continually.
