sealing your energetic leaks

sometimes you aren’t tired because you have done too much.

you’re tired because your energy is going everywhere except where you are.

you can be sitting completely still and feel exhausted because internally, you are managing constant ongoing thoughts:

what does she/he think of me?

should i respond?

what if they are upset?

why did that happen?

what will happen next?

did i make the right decision?

should i be further ahead by now?

these thoughts are energetic leaks. thoughts are energy.

and your energy is leaving you in streams all day long.

eventually, you wonder why you don’t have much energy left for yourself. we think protecting our energy as something dramatic, cutting people off, creating big boundaries, disappearing for a while.

and in some cases, that is necessary.

but often, sealing an energetic leak is much simpler.

it’s noticing where you keep giving your attention to, something that isn’t actually yours.

the person you keep checking on. the outcome you keep trying to control. the problem you keep solving for someone who isn’t asking you to solve it. the future you keep worrying about. the opinion of someone who isn’t living your life.

every time you mentally put your attention on something you cannot change, a little bit of your life force goes with you.

and the beautiful thing is you can call it back at any time.

how?

press the pause.

you simply have to become more available to yourself. because your energy is precious. your attention is precious. your presence is precious.

sealing your energetic leaks isn’t about protecting yourself from others, it’s deciding your own life deserves your energy first.

call energy back to yourself.

again.

and again.

and again.
